Do you still have to get to the Merlin at about 10 in the morning to even get a seat?

Stockport did. 20 massive old lads. Not too ashamed to say I got my head down and went to the game. They cheated though. Turned up at 5 past 3. Thats only the second time Ive ever seen away fans 'do what they want' if you like in the CGH in 4 years of going. The other was Northampton 01 in a bizarre day.

Most dont make it inside the door cos of the bouncers. Occasional small groups. Bradford had a small group, but they had some respect, talked about the football, no problems. Seen numerous legged out of there though. Especially in the 03-04 season. Rammed with hundreds of mad swindon lads every game that season. Most clubs arent brave enough to try, away fans in the CGH is a rare occurrence (3 or 4 times a season). Although its not the fortress it once was (shhhhhh!) with the Bmuth thing.

Bristol City LDV was akin to a scene from I.D. Two coppers walked through the pub after the game. Probably 120 Swindon in there and there was a deadly hush with everyone watching them.
