That was amazing! Loved the tactics of the final couple of laps, the crowd's reaction everything. Well done son!
Just hope Britain's more recent Somalian import is equally as good, Islam Feruz, Scotland's next football superstar - apparently.

I know a Scottish fella called Islam. One of the soundest people I know. And that's a true story.
(He's sort of Egyptian actually.)

No one normally give a toss about the Sports Personality of the year awards. Now everyone is talking about it. Part of the Olympics legacy? Though I reckon the girl who won the boxing is going to be on the shortlist. Most cheerful bubbly person I've ever seen. Gary just said it was Clare Balding who came up the the Mo celebration and got him to start doing it.

Mo was great, but Wiggo for me. The Tour de France win alone would be enough but his 4th Gold Medal on top was the icing. That said if Farah, Ennis or Hoy were to win they too would be worthy winners.

Even though I think I'm a little bit in love with Mo, I think Wiggins shades it. The Tour de France win on its own would have set him up nicely. To follow it up with Gold was immense. The BBC have a proper selection headache this year. I could possibly see them bending the rules.

I don't like knighthoods but if anyone deserves one it's Mo Farah. Legend.

Daley wins bronze in diving. First British individual medal since 1960. Hope that imbicile abusing him on twitter feels stupid now.
