I may not be a fan of road cycling, but these track events are brilliant.

Does anyone have the faintest idea what the cycling Omnium is about?
The Omnium consists of 6 different events, the points race (which Dave referred to earlier), individual pursuit, scratch race, time trial, elimination race and a 250m flying lap. The winner of each discipline is awarded 1 point, with second getting 2, third 3 and so on. After the 6 events, the rider with least points wins.

I must admit I was a bit "meh" about the games - but I have watched so much of it, staying up late to watch stuff that would only be on eurosport - and its getting better and better - loving it.

Have to agree apart from the staying up late bit. The cycling has been awesome, we are shit hot

I see Ennis is on at 2059, is Farrah on after that? Any other highlights this evening, that don't involve the football?

Might have a shout at another medal in the Long jump, Rutherford gone into the lead with his second effort - on at the moment

Yeah watching the long jump now on ch.460, well flicking between bbc1 and 460. Can't see Rutherford's jump being a winning one, needs to go longer.

Absolutely, didn't need to win the 800m but to take it on the home straight was fantastic. Give her all the honours she can carry...
And now for Mo, and a 1-2 in the Long Jump...
