You know, you could do so much more with that database if it was in MS Access.

I opened an Excel spreadsheet sometime around 2005-2006 and I've not thought about moving the data to anything else since then as it's for my viewing pleasure and I'm happy with it.

Saying that, I might suffer a relapse and explore the idea of moving it.

does the database pull the international caps and stuff from another source?

If not - how do you keep it up to date, or do you just update that sort of thing when you see them play and thus add to their record?

I update manually. Player info always changing so I tend to do 'big' updates in the weeks prior to a new season.

RE: Caps - You'll see some in yellow and some in blue. The caps in yellow are players still actively playing international football, the others have either retired, not player or been out of the international set-up for a while.

I've got my DVD's arranged by Genre, then sorted into alphabetical, I've got the same for my music on the p.c and books.

Absolutely not.

They're in more of a genre order with some sub-categories (director/cast) within.

Yep.

It was a friendly. It was abandoned after 60 minutes due to torrential rain. If it was sunny, I doubt they would have got much more than that.

Constanza your geekyness is indeed bordering on legendary. I am in awe of the geek level shown. If your geekness was measured in bovine lactations it would indeed be totally legendairy!

My geekyness of late doesnt muster to much more than overclocking my already highly overclocked PC to 5.15ghz on watercooling. I don't know why I do it, I do it just because I can and to test the level that my PC will work at even though its not a 24/7 overclock.

Why make a superlative out of a superlative.
