Isn't chicken korma indian?

Nope. Korma was invented by curry houses over here when they first started up cos at the time English palates couldn't cope with proper curries (see the Goodness Gracious Me "bland" sketch for further background). Much like Chow Mein, which isn't Chinese but was invented by a Chinese restaurant in New York. I'm like a cross between Reg and Delia Smith, me.

Oh and strong black coffee is the only way I get through the day. And I'll fight anyone who wants to have a go about it. Not that the excess caffeine leaves me wired or anything.

I had pork in bbq sauce with peas, green beans and roast parsnips, followed by an after dinner spliff - hence my ineptitude on the poker table. Sad

The cheese is full of fat so leave that out. Beans are ok but have quite a lot of salt. Get yourself some low fat bacon don't drench your potatoes in butter and you should be ok!

I thought korma was indian. But Chicken Tikka massala was invented in Bradford in the 60's and the first ones were served by restaurants over here using heinz baked bean sauce.

Wait for it..........
