I've a Jamaican mate, whose missus goes back regularly so stocks up with Appleton Estate rum. He ships a bit my way. Proper rocket fuel.

Guinness is all about how many pints are pulled through the lines. Back in the day I worked in one of the pubs in old town and if you bought a pint of guinness on one of the pound a pint nights where we sold a shed load it was delicious stuff. Saying that more than a few pints for me and I start to spin.

i'm not familiar with badger - yes i am having googled them, i have been known to enjoy a fursty ferret a few years ago. Badger beers are very good entry level beers for people who might be lager drinkers usually but want to try something with a bit more taste. I've got nothing but good things to say about them. The fact that they are so readily available in supermarkets is one of the best marketing tools the real ale lobby has had in a long time.

Bacardi 151. A 151 proof Rum with a flame arrestor in the neck. I've still yet to drink it, but overproof is always a shortcut to A&E.

When I see the title of this thread, all I hear in my head is '...down, to Alphabet Street'. Over and over.

The Guinness sold over here is brewed in Ireland.
Has anyone tried Nigerian Guinness? It sounds badass.
Had it once...it has a black head on it though not a white one.

haha, that stuff is lethal, 1st time i tried it i was on my arse after doing 2 shots... I have two versions, the barcardi 151 (with flame retarder) and Brugal (without flame retarder - which scares me!) only tends to be used on special occasions, though i have taken it in a hip flask to the cinema to mix with coke, i thought Aliens vs predator 2 was a comedy after that Where did you get hold of it as its not normally available in the UK?
