Anyone of you  heard of em?
An obituary in yesterdays Adver mentioned a member(the drummer) who had passed way and just wondered if anyone knew anything about them....i note the keyboard player was a Kempster....probably related to the shop somewhere but apart from that i hadn't heard of them.....anyone know about them?
Bit about the lead singer on wiki......but any info greatly recieved.

My father is listed as the Lead guitar player in the band, I know he mentions them as one of the bands he played in.
he's away at the moment but I'll be sure to tell him the sad news if he did not know already.

apologies Ginginho

Yeah, just heard about it, I obviously never knew that, sad news.
I was chatting to her at a pre-season Supermarine match either last year or the year before.

It is very sad, i didn't want to put links everywhere hence the direct message.

Back on the topic, the swindon scene back then was vibrant with bands forming and splitting up all the time from the sounds of it.
There is going to be a live evening i think later on in the year with some of those musicians getting back on stage to reunite for one evening.

That site is a real labour of love...it's a shame though that it ends in 69...would be good to have something similar for the following decades.

I've got a few in there though that I remember going to....don't think it's any different today mind. Loads of bands setting up and giving it a go...

Lovely lady....had a long chat with her at Wentworth last year....obviously very ill there was still a twinkle in her eye when i told her how much enjoyment i had got from watching her son over the years at various golfing events.
