I'm in Peterborough & it feels like a foreign country at times I applied for a job at the local council there once to be the elections manager - at that stage they were translating all the application forms into 17 different languages. |

Going shopping sometimes you don't hear an English voice, and the council spends loads on interpreters every year as they all come in and can't speak a word of English.... |
