I think the temperature thing is due to the fact that with a memory foam, your whole body is in contact with the matress whereas with a traditional spring mattress there are gaps where air can circulate and keep you cooler. I cant say I notice the temperature difference too much, but then I've been told I dont stay still in my sleep long enough to get too hot !

How come you all know what brand of mattress you have, for Christ sake?
I have a bed and a mattress, and I go to sleep. Thats all I know!

Don't forget to dump your old mattress outside the house of the woman who was trapped last year. I've got 2 mattresses in my garage that need a new home. However, being all mouth and no trousers, that's likely where they'll remain for ever more.

Memory foam is ace. http://www.thememoryfoammattressfirm.co.uk/It's a few years back now but I'm pretty sure this is who we used - no complaints at all.

I'm another vote for memory foam - other half has had much less back problems since we got it Like someone else said though they are a bugger to get up the stairs

Being a cheapskate, i bought a memoryfoam mattress topper from TK Maxx or Matalan and it's improved my cheapo mattress no end!
