Lost mobile phone.

If the phone has been reported lost / stolen, won't it now be blacklisted? So the only way to get it to work would be to change the IMEI number, if that is even possible on that model of phone. Also, I'd have thought if you hand it in at any Police station they would have a way of checking the IMEI and getting it back to the owner (provided it's been reported).

Not quite sure why anyone would want to keep a phone they found, they're just as likely to get arrested as they are to get a new phone out of it.

given the scenario, the only sensible thing that could have been done was to hand it into the club - a quick message over the pa system to say about the lost phone and job done anything other than that doesn't make sense

Yup. Credit to the fact that Crispy has posted this on TEF and Facebook. But it's pretty unlikely that the person who lost the phone is going to read it on here or facebook. It's a win-win for Crispy me says!! He gets to keep the phone, as well as portraying himself as an honest person! The man is a genius.

Personally, if it was anything other than a smartphone, I'd have given it to the club to sort out. If it was a smartphone, I'd have probably kept it!  This is why the real mastermind here is Crispy.
