My condolences to you, that has completely torn me up. A fitting song for tribute too.

I echo everyone's sentiment and wish you and your family well during these trying times and in the future.

I would like to add that my father never took me ever to football even though he promised me he would.

So I had to take myself in the early 70's but that's life. I do now have the pleasure of taking my 8 Y/O son to matches when the opportunity arises along with my wife, both have suddenly embraced STFC this season, not just for the fact we keep winning and of course Paolo. I am proud that I can take them and even more so that they have become part the STFC "family" as I'm sure your dad was of you and of course your son.

When we win promotion this year, we'll do it in style and with a genuine passion that I think you only get at our level. Also it will be for the dad's and mum's who over the years have all lent their support to OUR club by bringing us the fans of today and tomorrow.

I of course never had the pleasure to meet your dear old dad but from the bottom of me heart your dad was and is a hero.

Regards

Fatbasher.

I took a video of last season's roll of honour to have one last memory of my Dad's association with the County Ground as his name was read out. Condolences to WR5.
