If the Football League were to intervene and say either Gillingham would be docked points for failing to fulfil a fixture properly, or award us the 3 points and cancel the game completely, I'm sure the money would soon be found.
Absolute farce and as others have mentioned, why has it taken until now to realise there would be an issue? Complete and utter jealously, and a pathetic attempt to spoil our promotion party maybe?
