My Bagpiping Days.

Back in the days when i did a little bagpiping the church would ring me now and again to play a last lament at a paupers funeral,just a last tribute to a poor person with no family.
Well one day i got the call to go to a little village in deepest Wilts but got lost on the way,by the time i had got there i was much to late and the vicar was gone,just four diggers covering the top of the hole in the sacred earth.
I felt so bad but decided anyway to give this poor person a send off regardless.
Anyway my terrrible rendition of Amazing Grace was at least a small tribute and to my suprise even the four diggers had removed there caps,downed tools and one was even in tears so job done i thought.
As i got into my car i overheard one say to the other...that was bloody brilliant but who would have thought some guy would go to all that trouble over a septic tank.
