My dughter dropped her Samsung Galaxy Mini and now the screen is half white. It still works but she can't see what she's doing. She tried taking the battery out and putting it back in with no success. Any ideas anyone. Is it fucked?
Also any opinions on HTC Wildfire S.

Don't sound too promising

Wildfire S, quite a nice little phone, blokey at work has one. Android battery life problem tho

Decent leather case also helps with the dropping problem

LCD is screwed.  It will need to be replaced, which may cost a few quid.

If you're fairly handy a quick trawl of eBay may get you a replacement, which from experience most sellers usually send instructions and all the tools to fit it.

Get a quote first mind to make sure it is just the LCD

Was just considering one of these for one of the kids on Tesco mobile. Phone is free with a £7.50 monthly contract with 5000 text, 250 mins and 500MB per month. Its either that or a Samsung S3350 Chat 335. Any thoughts on which of these to go for?

My other daughter has one as well and its fine. The phone looks to be a good phone but my oldest daugjhter keeps dropping the bloody thing and then moans when it breaks. Probably best to change the daughter not the phone.
