It looks good, got some top special guests like Samuel Jackson.
The problem is that the office was so good that people will always compare so even if it's good, some people won't be impressed.

Read a review in a Sunday paper and it's supposed to be cracking. Not quite go the same been there done that feel of The Office but brilliant in it's own right.

I enjoyed it, thought Ben Stiller was very funny, Ricky's character was quite quiet though.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I liked it, yes. Thought it was cleverly written - Ben Stiller's part (himself) was scripted well, and it was good to see that he was clearly up for a laugh with it - took the piss out of himself a fair bit.
Andy (Gervais) was a little like Brent - in that he's a bit of a brown nose, and slightly prejudiced - although he's a little brighter.
Thought it was good and will watch again.
Anyone see Absolute Power? Saw it for the first time last night and really enjoyed it.

I didnt watch it, I watched the Beslan documentary instead. really nasty. dead kids everywhere Did anyone watch the "100 orgasms a day" program that was on at 11? these women had a condition called permanat sexual arousal syndrome. They ended up hating it as they'd need a wank every 10 minutes to relieve the tension |

Yeah, some of the scetches in that show are awfull though, bits of it are good - like the ginger sanctury, yes.
