Successful plug... I'd go for a long walk off a short pier before I'd even consider dealing with those crooks. How they still manage to advertise on the television is beyond me. It's conning stupid people, which is unethical.

A lot of them are reputable companies that can be very useful to people. The higher interest rates can be worth it to some people, provided they are made absolutely aware of what is entailed. The one on this thread, however, I would not consider using and if I was bosey I'd having nothing to do with them. It'll all go Pete Tong eventually and I would like to have no association with them when that happens.

I'm sure a lot of time and effort has been put into that website, but it looks sketchy as fuck. Looks like something a GCSE student has designed, riddled with grammatical errors (How Much do you want to borrow. Seriously? First thing you see.) And, as BR says, nowhere does it say it's a comparison site.
Fair on you for trying Bosey, but a lot of work needs to be done to that

Payday loans can be really helpful and I've used them a few times. You can quite easily borrow around £200 for a week for the cost of £15-£20 which is cheaper than going over my overdraft by a tiny amount for which my bank charges me a £25 fee instantly. In that situation a loan is a no brainer.

Appreciate the constructive feedback. The site has already been re designed it just needs implementing. Grammatical errors should all be gone now?

It's actually a £25 charge for going over my overdraft limit, rather than going into my overdraft so slightly different. HSBC by the way.

Yeah I get that but then if you havent got enough to live on then you'd need to take a serious look at your lifestyle and budgeting wouldnt you. Even more so if you are working full time and still dont have enough to live on I mean I could maybe understand a one off, if say you had to all your usual bills, then it was the month you renew your car insurance all upfront, then it had an MOT and needed work done and then your boiler went tits up and you were due to pay off your holiday or something!

Shit happens to everyone at some point in their life through no fault of their own. If a service like this can help over the shortest of term, and you accept that you have to pay for the privilege, then I say what the fuck ! If it means putting food on the table, or to pay the gas bill ....................

A Halifax account charges £1 for authorised overdraft use and £2 for non-authorised. If you go £10 in to the authorised then that's £1 per day, 3,650% APR. Pretty hefty compared to QuickQuid at comparable APR 1,734%, and its those chaps that get a bad name.
