If I was made to sit around for a week or so in pain because of somebody else's idiocy, I'd want to be compensated for it.
Given the choice, I'd rather take the no pain option. When there is no such option however, then cash me up.
Bang on BR. What a ludicrous comparison compared to Bankers being paid bonuses, fwiw i dont think he should take the bonus. |

Not at all, I am talking about the current culture of me, me, me, everyone out for what they can get, which seems to have permeated all society. Why dont you think he should take the bonus? Because these are austere times, and we are all in this together and he shouls show a little moral repsonsibilty? Ok, big discrepancy in figures obviously but principle is the same. |

flasheart, dont be a dick....of course everyone has sympathy with Ralhpy and Tans re the accident...ok, so they might be in pain for a week and there is the hasssle of sorting out car repairs etc...but I just think its depressing that the subject has turned to compensation within 48 hrs.
Just think its a sad indictment of todays society......

I think the driver who caused this should be prosecuted and removed from the roads. Simply paying the victim isn't enough imo.
