As far as I can see, Oxford get to indicate he's for sale, how much they want etc and the added bonus of us looking like chumps when he says no.

He would of joined if he didn't get the abuse simple of that.He was going to talk to us and believe me the next club who bids for him will get him he is fuming with oxford and rightly so.

Possibly but I'd still argue that they could have done all of that within one statement that didn't make their fans question the actions of their owners and give their employee abuse of their own fanbase. |

If the fee could of been around £300k then quite happy this didn't happen. Was a chat earlier about if we signed him that would 6 or 7 strikers on the books.
Anyway Constable Thursday.2 has been fun. Fair play to him for showing loyalty, just didn't show any ambition.

Yep: Coupled with the fact that the manager is well aware of Constable's shortcomings, its still a possibility that he will be sold and replaced before the window closes - it now being quite obvious what we're willing to let him go for.

Cuntstubble has been treated badly by the scum from boardroom to their neanderthal followers. Pretty obvious he didn't want to come here. Don't believe for a second that threats on the internet swayed him. Club accepted a bid and he didn't want to move. He might regret that now. I can understand why he was put off.
Yeah I had a look, some thoroughly vile stuff, it's true. But players get god knows what shouted at them during games and so on - and that's person to person. I think they understand abuse often comes with the territory don't they? Now if he's had phone calls or something else then that would be different.... but we may never know that. And if they want to get shot of him, and they do, then how bothered are they he's stuck in a tough situation for a few hours? How depressing to find myself agreeing with Oxford_fan. I just don't like being rejected by one of their players. It's that visceral. |

Board: "We've accepted a bid from Swindon for you. We agree that you can talk to them if you like."
Constable: "No thanks."
there is a bit more to it than that though, BBC football says he hasn't been at training for the last two days. Will never be the same for him again whether that be with some fans or the board so can't see him staying now regardless of where he ends up. |
