A couple of car related threads have got me thinking about the cars I've owned - its a terrible list by all accounts. Does anyone have a car history to rival this?
- Mark 2 Fiesta, £300, 15 years old, manual choke, nearly as old as me - I loved this car; - 2001 Citroen Saxo - hateful, glad I wrote it off; - 1996 Vauxhall Corsa - hateful, glad I wrote it off within a year of the Saxo; - 1997 Peugeot 306 - worst car ever. Fan turned itself on while parked on the drive. In the snow. Electrical problems galore; - 2009 Fiat Grande Punto. My first brand new car. Doing OK so far after 40K, but hardly glamorous.
Beat that.

The Fiat dealer quote was massive - over £400. I managed to get a proper service through a garage run by the Local Authority I work for for £130. I'd usually go with the official dealer, but the difference was too big.

Despite the problems you've listed, I'm very jealous that you owned a 147.
