Johno,  you'll do fine mate.
You must have something your first team like.

Be positive and do your best. It's all you can do at the end of the day mate.

Best of luck

Just got to do well in the first over.

ball 1 - Inswinging yorker
2 - Bouncer into the ribs
3 - Full length get the edge
      4 - Just back of a length
      5 - Take the wicket
6 - Bouncer to the new batsmen

mate, its harder than just writing it on here. most of all it depends on the pitch. if it ain't bouncing then i will be going for alot of yorkers  Smiley  although generally i can't do them that well, i did an inswinging yorker the other week and knock middle stump out...which i was happy with!  Cheesy

if you could do that you'd be playing for england

unless you're 80 mph you're bouncer should be hit for 4 everytime

well....uh yeh. i bowled 6 overs 1-36.  :|

my excuses are that

1) 12 runs came from misfields
2) 2 easily capable catches where fielders couldn't be arsed!
3) 1 literally less than half a CM away.

overall everyone though knew this and was very happy with my performance. so looks like i might becoming a 1sts regular when avaliable.

it was hard though considering i jumped 6 leagues of cricket today!

That baint too bad......I turned out for the first time this season a week ago, got to bowl a couple of overs, first was a maiden, second got a bit of tap, as they were chasing runs......went for 16,  but had the fella dropped on the boundary.

I only turn out as a favour if my mates team are short.
