What a strange time to decide to take your own life?

he didnt say wrong. He said strange. There may not be a right time but there could be an "un-strange" time.

My point was, someone doesn't suddenly decide to commit suicide, it's usually something that's been thought about and pre-planned.  It seems odd to do it shortly before you are due to referee a game - why not the night before?

Maybe he pre medatated a decision that he was going to make during the match and thought bollox. Eek

This was a cry for help i would say not a suicide attempt....there are easier and less painfull ways of ending it all...most suicide attempts are not real attempts at all.

Seems he is out of danger so lets hope he gets the help he needs.

Rediculous postponement.

Equivalent of us having a game called off at Stoke or Nottingham.

Must be the weekend for bizzare call offs. The La Liga game between Grenada and Mallorca was abandoned after linesmen was hit by an umbrella.
