She not he My point was, someone doesn't suddenly decide to commit suicide, it's usually something that's been thought about and pre-planned. It seems odd to do it shortly before you are due to referee a game - why not the night before?

Maybe he pre medatated a decision that he was going to make during the match and thought bollox. This was a cry for help i would say not a suicide attempt....there are easier and less painfull ways of ending it all...most suicide attempts are not real attempts at all. Seems he is out of danger so lets hope he gets the help he needs.
