The ones I remember that I couldn't miss were

Grange Hill
Dungeons and Dragons
Dogtanian and the three muskahounds
Scooby Doo
Spiderman and his amazing friends

There was also a cartoon based in space, where a team of 5/6 people went around and saved the universe.  They each had a different vehicle, a bit like thunderbirds.  One guy drove a car, one woman drove a bike and there was a small space ship and a sub I think, they all travelled around in a big blue space ship.  They did some sort of transformation thing to turn them from normal person to said saviour.  Can see it but can't remember the name of it, ring any bells?

Probably because it was on Sunday night and not the normal kids TV time after school.  Plus the fact that the muppets was really classed as a kids/adults show!
