You ask them do you ever watch them play, and they say yeah on the telly.

I've worked with many of these twats over the years - they are very hard to ignore and genuinely believe they know more about football than we, the plebs, do. Luckily I now work with mostly Everton fans who go to games, know their stuff and take a genuine interest in how we are getting on. It's great.
It is true how working with proper fans of other teams can be fun. In the past few years I have shared offices with match going fans of Bristol Rovers, Aston Villa and Spurs, and got on great with all of them. My older boy's new football coach is a Bristol City season ticket holder - it is great to have someone who understands that an 11am saturday morning kick off is not ok as it makes it difficult to get to matches.

Fully paid member of the Man United hate club. Was at school during the early-mid 90’s just as they started to dominate and saw so many kids dumping their original team and going to United. That pissed me off then and still does now, all the glory-hunting cunts who have never been to OT but act like massive fans. Plus I hate that purple whisky nosed twat in charge as well.
Hate Saints with a passion. My nearest team and so many people round my way support them, I get grief on a daily basis. Charlie scoring that winner at their place a couple seasons back gave my more joy than any victory over Poxford will.

All the obvious local rivals.
Pretty much the whole of the premiership, espescially the big teams.
Franchise, Millwall, Leeds and a rather irrational hatred of Crystal Palace.

Hate everyone except us. It's the level of hatred that varies week to week and season to season.
Current top five though :
Pox (usual reasons) MK Donuts (same reasons as already mentioned) Crawley (they've managed to prove themselves 'Knightish' in double quick time in all aspects) Rovers/Shitty (usual stuff) Southend (they're next)

If I look through the fixtures, I can normally choose who I want to win most games due to irrational hatreds, past games/players that pissed me off etc. so I think I've picked up an underlying distaste for most clubs over the years for various reasons and it can surface at any moment.
Apart from the usual suspects already mentioned, I do seem to have developed an particularly unhealthy dislike of Oldham, but I don't really know why. I'm sure it's something to do with plastic pitches!!

It'd probably be easier to list clubs I don't mind.
I think that list consists of Exeter.

Surely it cheapens it a little if you dislike a quarter of the football league?

Not particularly, I have reasons for listing most of those teams, but it's mainly the fans I don't like.

My grandad once drove through manchester so i can support them ....dicks) Leeds, millwall, cardiff, Franchise and crawley. I also really really really hate cheltnum as we never ever beat those posh nobs

I too can pick up a dislike for a club quickly. For example I don't like Burton, this is because if I'm not mistaken Paul Peschisolido (or however you spell it) is married to Karen Brady...........the devils spawn of cuntyflaps Leon of the century Terry Brady. This is enough for me to dislike Burton.....until about 5pm on Saturday at least.

I fucking hate Sunderland for the reason that when i were a young lad, after we had played them off the park at Wembley and won a brief promotion to the Premier League, we were walking out of the stadium and some big fat fuck of a Mackam in his colors had the bravery to spit in his hand and rub it in my face. Being only a young wee shy quiet lad I didnt know what to do and just carried on walking! Since then i cannot stand them filthy northern cunts with a passion.

Wolves...I worked in Wolverhampton for a while and they all thought they were a big club..Wrong Man Utd...Not so much the club as the fans..Home Counties pratts Bolton...Nearly got my head ripped off at the CG when a Bolton fan tried to nick my scarf in about 94-95 Leeds....Because I just do..
Clubs I actually don't dislike as others Tranmere...that night in '93 was a bit special..always a good club to visit Walsall ....Poor relative of all the other West Midlands clubs
