What planet is she on?!?!?!: I'm with Chris, was an OK concert definitely not the worst I've ever seen (well the worst Oasis one - yes) but nowhere near the best either - and ive seen loads. Mind you this is partly because my tolerance for Liam, which was low anyway, was completely lost when during the second or third song he moved away from the microphone on the last word of every line so he never actually sang them! After that he'd wound me up so much I wasnt that impressed. Noel as always was fab - they should ditch the arrogant tw*t Liam and just let the one with all the talent front the band. The oldies were indeed the goodies and had the crowd pumping. The new songs, well I really like the album but they were so dissapointing live as they had no oompf, Liam is not an entertainer and the crowd around us just talked over the top of them. Thing with Oasis is that their hay-day was morning glory and when you saw them then they loved it all, yeah they were still bigheaded, but they actually enjoyed performing. Saturday well, they didnt seem to care, its like they (esp Liam) were too good to play to the 65,000 people who are keeping them in luxury! Plus the fact the whole set was only just over an hour and a half - and why? So they could go and make some more money by being live in Manchester at 11! It was all just far more dissapointing than it was good and has decided me not to go to another Oasis concert again. Although when it was good on Saturday it was fab! Of course I can appreciate you guys in the pit had a totally different experience, although my mate Maz from work was in the pit and said the new songs fell flat there as well apart from a couple of really hard core fans who went beserk.
Phew, thats that done with then - all in all I enjoyed GreenDay more and if you want to go and see a real performance from a band and have a fab time/ experience go to Hyde Park next week for REM, they'd be right up there with Robbie for the best entertainers and most fantastic time at a gig for me - both times ive seen them (last week and ten years ago, whereas I saw Oasis 10 years ago and they were fantastic, shame they couldnt keep it up!)

Because she has the worlds biggest arse and does fuck all other than get bigger at home, and as a result he just now does the same, all of us dislike her, and we've all known eachother for nion 10 years.
Even her own friends are desserting her, she spoke to another mates misses, Laura who is excellent to have a laugh with and moaned that she felt like she no longer had any friends.
They were together for a year about 7 years ago, and got it back on last summer, much to our disapointment. They bought a house together earlier this year, so now he's well and truly screwed.
He's one of the best players in our pool leagus, and enjoyed it last year, hasn't turned up once yet this season.

She really thinks Oasis went up to Manc land to play live on Channel 4?! I couldn't understand that either. Having been to both Green Day and Oasis I have to say there is no contest, and as for her moaning about the set length I would be very very surprised if Green Day played as many songs as Oasis did, GD did far too much fannying about, and could easilly have fitted about 3 of 4 songs in if they just got on with it. I know you need to entertain between songs etc. but there is a fine line, GD took the piss really, whereas Oasis were the shit! |

Am i right in thinking there was a screen on the back of the sound stage for GreenDay biut not for Oasis? That would have been pretty decent for all them at the back.
I had so much fun watching them, was a brilliant day out. I do wish Andy Bell would smile though!

Yeah there was a screen at the back of the sound satge, which I thought was odd for not being at Oasis, but I knew I was going to be well in front of that, so didn't care. :twisted:
