Think you're all being a bit harsh. Ok that guy has spent ages doing his research, but his point was to look at us and our history and compare it them amid fears about their own debts. One or two have jumped in with the rather ill-founded "wahey Swindon are going bust" comments but on the whole it's a fairly sensible thread.

Yep, some pretty reasonable and compassionate takes on the rivalry too.

That is ridiculous that someone has taken out time to do that research on their closest rivals. I feel dirty even reading anything to do with Oxford let alone taking time out and actually going out of my way to find out financial statistics on them

11000 sold for Sat. Pretty poor considering that its only 8000 odd home fans.

That's not bad at all...up there with the Crewe game, which given the messed about KO time is a good sign.

I can't recall the 'el-classico A420' ((c) London Metro) being a sell out much in the past. Too much potential for trouble puts a few off I suppose. Add in its holiday season (stupid people going on holiday in the footy season!).

In fact 13,041 is the biggest (home) gate since 1972. A few around 11K so this is a good gate by comparison.
