Solid but not spectacular, nearly moved on late in the last season only to break his toe.
The one thing about him though that used to amaze me is that when he used to jump for the ball, players over a foot shorter would beat him.
glady..although a local lad and a decent servant to the club the man is frustratingly slow and your great grandmother has more spring when challenging for a header. His ability at one on ones is the worst i've ever seen and he is currently low on confidence..good signing
totally agree with whats just been said in the last 2 message`s.. his best best spell 4 us was when he played centre half!
Not good enough for us in the end.Although tall Gary couldn't beat someone half his size in the air.And hasn't got much skill either,also he runs like hes got a car strapped to each leg.Gary's main point is his versatility!
Thats about it-however he was a good servant and played 350 plus games(i think) for the Super whites
