Never understand the logic of apportioning any of the blame to the Police when it kicks off like this. How about just blaming the mindless thugs that are actually causing the trouble rather than those risking their lives trying to stop them?
not saying its the police's fault far from it, the point i was trying to make is they need to start to man up, which they do when its a driving offence etc

I have friends in London and family in Croydon close to rioting.
They are properly scared, as the rioters seem happy to turn on anything and anyone.

A Childrens Hospital in Birmingham has been targeted now. Windows smashed up.
"People are getting in their cars and running down these rioters to protect their area in East Ham as no cops around"
Looting in Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Thatchers underclass in full effect. You reap what you sow.
Ha bingo, what's the Thatcher version of Godwin's law - you didn't disappoint me.

this just seems like a bunch of ***** waiting for an excuse to rob and attack innocent people and there homes , im not saying the police are not in any way to blame and they have definately not helped apparently leaving tottenham and brixton to burn whilst protecting enfield and the west end .The best thing ive read about this is apparentely a mob went down a greek/turkey neighborhood who had no police protection but where ready for them and sent the cowards running. Unless the police and politicians get on top of this problem this will happen everytime some scum want a riot and a loot, and it will escalate to other parts of the country .

Exactly like, any problems in the country even after 21 years of her leaving office someone always mentions / blames Thatcher.

I bet Everton fans are hoping the game with Spurs is called off so as the shops are restocked when they play there.
