Difficult because don't ebay have a "pay within x days" clause. I'd wait it out as long as I could and not pay - uless you 100% trust the seller (seems an odd item to "scam" with though).
Its probably holiday issue or some such genuine issue.

Dont pay, check her previous out. Contact Ebay...if buyers / sellers get a 5 star report Ebay give poor references indeed. Shame....

As has been said do not pay any more, if you don't hear anything in the next day go through ebay as not many people want problems with ebay.
Don't give her the option of relisting to try and get more she sold the shirt so she has to accept the final bid
But whatever you do don't pay as you don't know if you have been scammed

I don't think sellers can leave negative feedback these days, just file non-payment reports.

This is correct. I had a similar experience when I won some tickets to see Jedward a couple of years ago with a fairly low bid. The seller was based in Swindon and I e-mailed and asked if I could collect the tickets and pay in cash rather than by paypal and the tickets be posted. Never heard a thing back despite e-mailing several times. I concluded that they probably didn't want to sell them for that price and got a better offer. I was annoyed but at least didn't pay and lose any money.

It's totally unfair that only buyers can leave negative feedback. My wife sold a dress on eBay, the buyer paid promptly but after several days demanded a refund because she said the dress was dirty. As it was brand new we knew that was wrong and refused to refund. She went to the arbitration thing they offer and they simply said that the only way to solve it was for her to return the dress and for us to refund the money. They threatened to take money from us via paypal if we refused. We later discovered that this woman had worn the dress, decided she wouldnt wear it again and so asked for the refund knowing that the arbitratration service takes this easy option. So, she had worn a brand new designer dress for the evening and only had to pay a couple of quid in postage for the privilege, whereas we now had a used dress worth a lot less money. How many times had she done this? As sellers can't leave negative feedback we were unable to warn people of her scam yet she had the nerve to write some negative feedback as a buyer! We stopped using e bay after that as they really couldn't give a shit and had no interest in investigating the facts.

It is and I think a number of sellers don't sell there now because of it.
