Wellies were not needed. Was a good day, some decent music and whatnot, barre the shite rap studd. would have possibly liked to have drunk more but was driving so had to be careful. The bloke we saw in the comedy tent was also bizzarely on michael mcintyres comedy roadshow tonight (hal cruttendon - he was alright. Bit hit and miss, largely hit tbf).

It's a very pleasant suprise to see that the town can put something like that on. We get a lot of shit for lack of culture and community spirit, and although some of the acts on show were a little shite, the spirit was their, and should be applauded.

This was a large scale event at Lydiard and WAS FREE. Well done to all involved to make it happen including Swindon Council. Not sure what the alcohol policy was as it was on sale in at least 2 tents albeit £3.50 a pint!
