Ardiles, you and me will have to go for a drink one night - are there enough CAMRA members on the forum to make up a crowd?
Bitter/ale for me if I have any choice - prefer dark beers/malty beers to overly hoppy ones, but will drink some of the "golden" type ales in hot weather.
To earn a bit more money while my business is getting going I have taken a job as a tour guide at Wadworth's - the guided tasting sessions at the end are great - getting paid to drink beer!

This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

I don't drink much lager, too gassy. If i'm out i'll drink Guinness or ale/bitter. At home, I drink wine, sometimes Stella, cider, gin, whisky, pretty much anything really.
Some good ale pubs in Swindon like The Glue Pot & Beehive, although the Beehive has seem to have gotten really expensive.

I had some Peroni the other night, absolute gnats piss. There are some proper crap lagers out there; Carling, Fosters & Budweiser to name but a few.
