Yeah, just thought they may have gone with a more local theme with Cheltenham and Oxford coming close in early season.

Not complaining though.

I think it's a international weekend so League 2 teams are normally shown then. Can't believe it'll be our 8th live game in just under a year and a half. Only lost one aswell.

Its because Adam Le Fondre will be playing against his old club!

Must be an international weekend....so surely we'll have a raft of international call ups for micro countries. Last season's sack of shit could actually get themselves up for a bit of preening on Sky, or ESPN.  Fuck knows what this season mongrel hotch potch will be like....

That's Glenville Adam J. le Fondre of Stockportese decendency.

With our exotic sounding Italian, Estonian and possibly Brazilians you wouldn't want him to miss out on the funny name stakes.

So...from a sack of shit last season to a mongrel hotch potch this....I guess we're going in the right direction eh Reg? Cool

I can confirm it is indeed an international weekend. I will be in the Scottish Borders and was hoping to catch a game at Berwick Rangers or failing that, somewhere in the Edinburgh area. Thanks to the internationals though, the Jocks have left that weekend completely free. No games whatsoever FFS!! What's the point in that? And I guess not too many pubs in Berwick-Upon-Tweed will be showing Swindon v Rotherham....why do you mock me oh God?? Crash

Shame, got loads of games this season that will have fans on the bank, and would have looked good on TV. Not this one, will be a poor advertisement.

Away from home we should also be quite a big draw. Lots of games that would have been worth televising.

I'd imagine this is more about Di Canio than Swindon. Nothing wrong with that though and it's just one of many ways he will be bringing more income to the club. Wouldn't be surprised if we get another game or two.
