Been building up a nice collection of photos on my lorry travels.
Decided to stop the lorry and get some photo's of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, not really meant to stop the lorry there but the hazards went on and i took some quick pics of the bridge and surrounding area, nice old Victorian docking area there also to the left of this pic but anyhow i digress, about two seconds after taking this photo the eejot on his bike had clobbered the street light in front of him...yep the big fucking 100 ft high thing ruining a nice shot i have to say, needless to say the bang nearly caused me to topple into the murky mud of the River Avon while he wiped himself down looking rather sheepish.
He didn't say why he did the silly deed but i think he was watching me rather than the cycle route.
Note the old houses to the right, you would have stood on your balcony and talked to the sailors on the large clippers/ships sailing on high tide in and out of Bristol.the old docking area was where local bigwigs would meet and greet the captains and there strange assortment of cargo's,including human cargo alas in earlier times

Also near the white graffitti is the old tunnel for work trains built into the rock.
Anyhow this pic shows him a few seconds from disaster
