Anyone else got one?
I recently got this phone on a 2 year contract. It is fookin mint.
Having a slight problem at the moment though. The battery is running low so I have been prompted to plug the charger in. But when I do that it charges for like a second and then comes up with a message saying that the battery has been disconnected.
Help?
I'm at work at the mo, so don't really have the time to call a helpline.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Try holding down these keys for 1 second each in order
up, down, left, right, #. down, down, 7,2,6,9,#,up, up, left.
If that doesn't work at least you should get an extra life.

Perhaps. But I don't see why it'd say "battery disconnected" if that were the case. It seems like once I plug it in, instead of charging it just runs off the mains. Hmph.

My phone does that all the time.
It's because the dodgy plugs here don't always fit into the dodgy sockets properly so you have to get it just right to make a circuit.

Yeah I did pretty much just that. Also used all my old NES and Sega gaming experience and blew in every hole on show.

But yeah, this phone is shit hot. Easily the best out now. Dual Core processor. 8megapixel camera. 1080p video res and a whole bunch of other big numbers that I can't remember. Oh and for all the star gazers out there... Get google sky maps. Love it!

I decided against getting the S2 because it's really plastic in it's build and that back cover is really flimsey. I went for the HTC Sensation as it feels more sturdier and better in the hand. The screen isn't quite as good but it's also a dual core phone and runs quick enough for me. I'll admit that spec wise it isn't quite as good as the S2 but I just prefer the more robust and comfortable feel and also the HTC UI over the Samsung one.

Feels sturdy enough to me. But fair enough Iff.
It's definitely the port on the phone that's the issue. I just moved the phone and it disconnected the battery again... Gash.

It's all about preference at the end of the day. There's no denying the SG2 is a quality phone. I was tempted a number of times to opt for one. The screen is amazing but there's more to a phone than just a screen for me.
