The whole exhaust or just a section? It may not be as bad as you think - though its never cheap.

There's a hole in the barrel bit, i think it's called the muffler? Me dad reckons it might not need the whole thing replacing.

He also reckons the cars now illegal to drive? Is this true? I'm not particulalry au fait with cars

Exhausts will be a fairly standard price outside of main dealers. If it's just your back box it probably won't cost too much.

Sweet, thats good then. I'm assuming the back box is the bit with the red dot? Thats where the hole is, only on the underside

I saw some diy things on halfords, anyone used them before?

The DIY repair kits are shit. Tried one before on my old Megane but it only lasted a week or so until it gave in.

Don't you have a Ka or something like that? A new back box should be fairly cheap. Just don't go to Kwik Fit. Bells in Old Town are good.

Very unlikely they'll be open tomorrow.

Autospeed on the roundabout by County Road were substantially cheaper when I rang round.  Did a good job as well.

I'd go along with Bells too. Slightly dearer than Kwik Fit but far more honest IMO.

Yeah mine is rattling around a bit at the moment. Don't think there's a hole, I think it has come away from it's fitting.
