7th (?) highest budget on the league is shoe-string?
If your going for promotion it is.

Look at January - replaced a 7 figure striker with a 5 figure one.

He is rightly going to take some of the blame for this season.

And Douglas hit the xbar (I can't find it within me to call him Dougie anymore)

If he was in with a shout of the job, he won't get it now after his tosspot behaviour. Only good thing to come out of today.

Does anyone on here actually know what was said?
BBC Swindon are refusing to comment so far.

What a great afternoon's entertainment. So glad I decided not to take the game seriously today.

First half...
We played really well. Good football, good passing, creativity, and a cracking goal. The crowd got behind the team, and all was well with the world. I couldn't fault any of the players - even Prutton looked impressive winning plenty of headers and putting himself about. Dougie was playing some good passes too and running the midfield.

Second half...
Started ok. Still pressed forward a little and created a few chances. I thought Dougie's strike was in - gutted to see it come off the bar.

Then...
Well, what can you say. I noticed Sheehan at right back, and wondered what was going on. Then Ferry was seemingly playing musical chairs until Hart eventually told him to stay put and brought on Michael Timlin. Out of the 8,000 people in the crowd you would have done well to find one who thought it was a good move. And that person would have been wrong. All downhill from there, a total lack of belief, a total lack of desire, and I for one was actually pleased that fans turned on Paul Hart. His decisions were a joke and ruined any remote chance of survival.

How I would love to be a fly on the wall in Fitton's office right now...
