Hey gaming nerds! My lad's mate has COD Modern Warfare on PlayStation. If we got COD MW for the Wii, would they be able to play each other online? Or is it only PlayStation-PlayStation,Wii-Wii, that kind of thing?

playstation-playstation, xbox-xbox only I'm afraid.
I'd do a bit of research on the Wii version even for single player use, I'm not sure it is the same as the xbox/PS3 version.

They wouldn't dream of cross-console playing. Well Microsoft wouldn't. Everyone would just buy a PS3 because online gaming is free and you could still play people on xbox.

The only cross-platforming gaming is between PC and 360 and the Xbox owners tend to get 'pwned' rather extensively.

I adored that game! Mainly on splitscreen - and I didn't know any ST owners. Did used to play Stunt Car Racer, Powerdrome and Falcon on system link. |

Maybe we will see cross platform online gaming when MS decide they want to loosen their purse strings and let people have XBL for free. The chances of this are pretty much zero though sadly. |
