Not really, its for charity, not for an investment. Might get some company some publicity. I thought in the last episode it went in the lake?
Q: Is this item water damaged? A: Dear squalker491 Thanks for your interest in this item. We have been assured that this car is in full working order and that the one you saw dredged from a pond in the show was actually a stunt double! Happy bidding

Might get some company some publicity. um £20k on an 18 year old car is excessive. regardless what it's for.

Not if you were going to give 20K to charity anyway it isn't.

If whoever is paying 20K for a £200 car its safe to say they do.
Why don't you like Comic Relief as a charity?

just don't agree with how it is exploited by celebrities getting their extra 5 mins of fame on the TV whilst pretending to cry alongside disadvantaged people.
to me it makes a mockery of the whole charity

Fair enough, I can't stand the TV event either. Some for the reasons you state, mainly because it isn't that funny. I'll make exceptions for the likes of Lenny Henry, he has been involved from the start I think (rather than cashing in). The charity itself does good work though. And so that's why I think somebody buying the inbetweeners car for 20K is great.

yes i can agree with that. Lenny Henry as you say has been there since day one and continues to do excellent work for the charity but over the recent years more and more celebs have got involved for nothing more than personal gain and to me it takes the focus away from the actual work Lenny Henry and the charity are actually trying to achieve. This is why i find it a farce as the focus is turned to the celebs rather than the actual charity/it's needs and what it stands for.
