Righty

Mayhem and tragedy aside, how fucking thick are the daily mail. Or, perhaps more pertinently, how fucking thick must their readers be:

Quote
The conspiracy theorists claim that on March 19, the moon will be closer to Earth than at any time since 1992 - just 221,567 miles away - and that its gravitational pull will bring chaos to Earth.

Conspiracy theorists???

How the fuck can the moon possibly conspire? Who the fuck did the moon conspire with? Did the conspire with the Earth behind everybody's back to keep it all a secret.

It's not a conspiracy theory. It's just a theory. Dumb fucks.

Quote
The moon's orbit around Earth is not a circle, but an eclipse.

An eclipse?

Or would that be an ellipse?

I could go on.

First quake got upgraded to a 9.0.

That's 6,000 times more powerful than the quake in NZ.

From @BBCWORLD:

#Japan #earthquake ruptured a patch of the earth's crust that is 240km long and 80km wide, US Geological Survey says, from AP.

Explains the ferociousness of the tsunami. In some ways it's very fortunate that it occurred of the north east and not the south west... Could've had even worse and devastating effects.

@Reuters

FLASH: Japan's trade ministry says the pressure inside the Fukushima nuclear reactor may have risen to 2.1 times the designed capacity

Still no footage on TV of Godzilla. I'm assuming he's the one responsible, but I'd like to see some tangible evidence.

No I reckon it was Nessie, she wanted a new pool to play in. But she would be on top of the food chain, as haggis got a tad boring. Beers

We have to hope the explosion was an ancillary building and not the main reactor, but following the story on the Beeb its not looking good Sad

Sky News have practically got the man sized Kleenex out to mop up their jiz. Sensationalism Sad

Just seen the pictures, I'm guessing if it was a reactor the explosion would have been much bigger?

The reactor itself was shut down wasn't it? Not sure if that would lessen the explosion.

But the media is in a confused state, so I take what they say with a pinch of salt for a few hours. Fingers crossed.

The radiation could get blown right over to the West Coast of the Youess Offay.

How ironic.
