Pretty horrible seeing cars on the road trying but failing to escape the Tsunami.
The recent NZ earthquake was 6.3 on the Richter scale, making this one @8.9 400 times more powerful - assuming my maths are right (10^2.6).

One confirmed. There's three others that could be. How bad does a day get when the earthquake you started out with actually doesn't seem so bad next to the tsunami that hits you as a consequence and you then have to start worrying about your reactors going all Three Mile Island on you? The footage the BBC have been showing is horribly compelling. |
