Can somebody explain this one

Quote
He said his wages were £480 a month, on top of which he recieves (sic) a monthly £792 in benefits from the state.

I'd quite like to receive £800 in benefits. It would make being unemployed less scary.

I'm genuinely not playing the race card, I'm sure anyone in the situation would get the same regardless of religion/race/etc.

Probably including housing benefit. That can be very high depending on where you live.

Good day all round then, charge the waste of air £50, paid at least ten fold that for the court case charges alone and then give him even more money! RESULT!

Leona Lewis is the most influential woman to have lived in London for the last 100 years... Really?

Apparently it was a similar thing that has been done on here, on her fans pages and forums on T'internet everyone was asked to vote for her.

But to be such a high profile poll does surprise me hugely.

I love one of the comments on one page about it......

Quote
Yeah, I'm glad Leona won this too. Her contribution to soceity over the last 100 years has been immense. Apart from winning a singing competition she has also featured in the UK and US popular music charts in the last 5 years.
She has also posed for a number of photo shoots and managed to change her "look" on a number of occasions. You can't get much more influential than that.
Emily Wilding Davison (of Blackheath,London) threw herself infront of the King's horse in 1913 for the suffragette movement. She isn't featured in this poll. But then i suppose she didn't have a number 1 single (produced by a man) or a career in the music business (managed by two men).
Good luck to Leona. She has taken an opportunity and run with it. But the women who voted for her as the most influential woman in the last 100 years................. thats a real shame.
I look forward to Matt Cardle being voted as the most influential man of the last 100 years in the near future.
