I backed Sizing Europe each way at 8/1. However Victor Chandler has given me back the winnings like if I placed the bet at 10/1?? I've been betting for a few years (although not a lot) is there a simple explanation why this has happened? I'm a bit puzzled!!

Did they pay a higher fraction for the "placed" pat of the bet? Or was it definitely x% of 10/1? Did they have any 'specials' on? Did you accidentally take SP?

alot of bookmakers are paying the higher price if it goes up after you've made your bet.

Im going on Friday with 3 mates, none of us have tickets. Firstly, are there many touts selling tickets this year? Secondly, which area should i buy for? The last time i went i was in The Tattershalls, right on the finish line, it was a great day. Are there better places to go?
