Apparently he passed away this evening. Very sad. He's not been in the best health for a while.

1965 in a first doctor dalek serial but that was a different character, his first appearance as the brig was in 1968 in The web of fear (I think)
last appearance as teh brig on telly was 2008 in Sarah Jane Adventures - Enemy of the Bane. He was still doing audio spin off stuff as well I think.

Twitter trending that Elizabeth Sladen has died from cancer, with the doctor who magazine and Nicola Bryant's twitters both apparently confirming. Nothing official yet though.
