Of course I'd like to see us get some cash if they're promoted. But you have to agree, some of the reaction to Parkins transfer is pathetic. well yeah, some of it is bordering on the homo-erotic. :fag: Personally I'll remember him as the best player of the last 5 years. Is he as good as Fjortoft or Rodgers for example? no. But in comparison to the team he played in compared to tham he's better than those two - if you catch my drift. :? better player, no more important contribtuion, yes

That's what I mean - he was in a totally different league to the rest of our team in the last three years.
In the times of those players at least we had a couple of other player who were good too.

Who gives a fuck if somebody wants to follow Sammy's career? It's not as if they're going to stop being a Swindon fan is it?

Why don't women like the word 'cunt'? I've never understood.

Me neither. I dont see why cunt is more offensive than minge, flange, beef curtains, twat or fanny. It all means the same.

Just because people might have and eye on a second team because an ex player is there, or because of some other reason doesn't mean the passion for their own team has to be any less
All these fans that have said they will watch out for our results aren't any less Swindon fans because of it
I like to see ex players wh were fan favourites do well when they move on for the right reason
from what I've seen SSP was a legend in his time at Swindon... he has moved on to play at a higher level.. a lot of the posters on here are wishing him good luck... I'm sure they still love STFC with a passion and will have another player take Parkins place in the affections, that's football
I have no problem with you saying you hate any team that isn't Swindon, but don't have a pop at others because they might si an interest in other teams/players fortunes
I myself will adopt Swindon as my team in your division this season, and wish them all the luck.. I'm Ipswich till I die, but I'm a football fan at heart and it doesn't stop me having other teams I like to take an interest in
so "GOOD LUCK SWINDON" for the 2005/06 season  All the best, good luck ITFC and SSP
