I read on a racing forum that there were concerns from trainer that the main stand lights kept flickering on and off like disco lights around 1pm.

In horses the electric current in such circumstances travels up the back legs and down the front (going through the heart) whereas in humans it is up one leg down the other - unless someone is holding hands in which case it could be equally fatal as through the heart.

Why up the back legs rather than the front? Do horses have a dipole moment?

Don't blind me with science I had to look that up. Sorry. I'm bored. Overeducated and underemployed. Nothing better to do than drink wine and post on here it what is approaching the small hours.

Would like to be on the booze myself tonight, but I can't even stretch to Tescos cider, you're in the lap of luxury by comparison, drinking your wine! Oh well, chicken kiev on its way and my first bath in four days. Skint skint skint

Chicken Kiev just after midnight? You're either in a different time zone or work shifts?

Bournemouth time. I've got so skint lately i've had to wait until my economy 7 kicks in at 11pm before I power up the oven for my main meal of the day!
