I think we are going to lose.
If we then lose again on tuesday then we would probably have to win every other game until the end of the season to stay up. Unlikely.
I think we are already at the stage where we need to win every other game.

I'm going with blind optimism and put a bet on us to draw 1-1 with JPM scoring which is 60/1

Time for Mr Kipling again. It worked against Charlton so 2-4 to Town, maybe with John Ward sacked on Sunday ...
Get this to the dressing room, and read the last line!
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you; If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or, being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with triumph and disaster And treat those two imposters just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to broken, And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breath a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch; If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you; If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run - Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be my team - my Swindon!

Ive just put 2 bets on. Colchester to be winnning at Half time and full time. Colchester to win outright. It doubles my money.
I am going for the reverse psycology thing as my betting luck is terrible.
I hope i lose

Wow we really don't fancy our chances today do we?
Understandable, but there's usually a quota of blind optimism and even that seems to be waning.

I've never predicted a defeat and I'm not starting now

Time for Mr Kipling again.
I don't think crisis is time for cakes, although his cherry bakewells are exceedingly good.

Good idea, I'm super shit at gambling. I'll make some bets now. Edit: I bet as follows, HT/FT: Colchester/Colchester, Draw/Colchester, Swindon/Colchester, Swindon/Draw (They should all be negative enough.)

We seem to have picked up more points against the better teams this season, so there is the potential for an upset here. However as has been pointed out, we're so poor at the moment and have no confidence, so unfortunately I can't see anything changing and another 3-0 defeat looming.
