No it wasn't him. quick google tells me it was Howard. He had long dreds at the time and didn't have a clue who he was.

Some really good contributions. Really liking the Cheggers one, didn't know he was a piss-head in times gone by
Got Cheggers autograph outside Dudes restaurant in Devizes Road when Swap Shop came to town. Sat and had a chat with Danny Baker and Linda Lusardi at the Old White Lion in East Finchley after they'd been filming for LWT. Spoke to Murray Walker in a restaurant near Estoril where I think he was being wined and dined by ITV before they took over the F1 coverage.

On that note, and I don't know if it counts, I met Chico outside Wetherspoons in Bournemouth Square. Didn't have a clue who he was and he seemed rather taken aback that his fleeting stardom had completely passed me by

Michael Caine: "Have you seen my daughter?"
Sussex the hotel waiter in Tetbury aged 16: "Er, Um"
Michael Caine: "She should be in the restaurant, can you show me through"...
Richard Branson was also there but we don't talk anymore.
Think that's about as famous as it gets for me.

I met all the crew of soccer am yesterday and also the Weasley twins from Harry Potter and everyone was really nice except Gary Johnson. But i have also had a drink with Gazza, Ian Wright and Michael Jordan at a Nike press day thing quite a few years ago but Nike wouldn't let us have our picture taken with Michael Jordan.

I used to like Dudes....it was a place where you could get a late drink, when pubs closed at 10:30 or 11:00 weekends. There was of course the curry run, but these invariably ended up in a punch-up, not really the sort of thing if trying to impress a lady of class.

I had a cigarette and a chat with Keith chegwin outside the link centre about 10 years ago. I didn't know he was a recovering alcoholic and I was waffling away about my hangover and how much I had drunk the previous night.
THIS made me laugh out loud!!!
