Igoe was a lazy twat who always used to have a tantrum when he lost the ball or didn't get his own way.

i think this is a bit of a muddle up, i think they ment that they had 2 pay the club he went to 3million to take him on.
Does it matter now though as the thread did start in 2005 and doesn't affect us!?

anyone remember that dodgey keeper they had too? didnt he keep blacking out all the time?
http://www.hants.gov.uk/pompey/onthepitch/squad/flahavan.html
I remember him, blacked out against us once, and we scored from it, from memory they thrashed us 5-2 so didn't make any difference.
Sadly he was killed in a car accident a few years ago.
I am right in saying it was a black out that caused the car accident? Or was it just booze (he was known for his drinking)

The M in the article actually stands for Mars bars. Ipswich actually offered us this for Igoe two years ago, but Brian Howard ate them.

So Sammy left and ended up playing beach football in Brazil. Terry Fenwick saw Sammy's potential and brought him back to Fratton Park.
Beach football for Igoe have they made that up??
