If someone had told me a few years back that Leon Best would be scoring hat tricks in the Prem i would have chuckled.

He has and i suppose it gives hope to the guys from the lower leagues making the step up.

There are also two who scored hat tricks on their first top flight start (ie pre-premier league) and are certainly more obvious choices.
