I don't know about 3 grand. Judging from where he came from, his playing background before us and general all round appearance though, I would guess he's far from the lowest earner in the squad.
I've heard a rumour that Pericard is the highest earner in the squad, though I expect that to be bollocks

Both O'Brien and Pericard are supposedly on more than Charlie, which must be a complete piss off and another reason why he'll leave in January! Cut our wage bill and get rid of them both, they won't be missed.

If he's on 2.5k a week ( and I don't doubt it ) then how the fuck can we move him on. He can only go down a league or two and nobody's going to pay his wages. I'm afraid he'll sit his contract out unless we offer to pay a huge part of his weekly wage. Also any new club will need to have some new hamstrings knocking around. |
