I have got myself a flat in Abingdon, which i shall be moving into on the 1st of August.

This means that i shall become a regular home boy here from then onwards, due to having some kind of ntl broadband/tv combo deal, which is being organised by my soon to be flatmate. Thats not to say that he is my mate, and will soon be flattened. Just that i will be living in the same flat as him. Anyways,  Cheesy i am this happy at the thought of having a lad-pad and being on the forum all the time. Am i sad? Don't answer.....

Anyway, anyone ever lived in a shared flat before? Anyone got any pointers? Also, will i have to change my name on here, now that i will no longer be a village/country bumpkin?

I'm not allowed to sit or stand then? Sharing with my best mate, so should be a good laugh. Just want to avoid unnecessary arguments......

I just signed up to that NTL deal with the Broadband /Digital Tv/Phone for 30 quid a month.I was worried about their customer service when I signed up but thought Id give it a whirl.

Anyway they have forgot to send my broadband activation password and after spending hours onthe phone ive still not managed to sort it out.NTL are cunts FACT!!

May reconsider ntl now. Money is a slight issue though, which is swaying me towards accepting a cheap deal, while accepting shite customer service.

What would y'all say is the must-have item for any aspiring lad-pad? (aside from an abundance of rubbers, booze, porn etc)

1. Check. Going shopping for a mahousive one next week, spending money of upto £1200
2. We have pretty communal gardens, but as we're on the top floor, we have a balcony, which would be a great place for a little gnome-mascot. One sporting a Town shirt would be a visual treat
3. For when the toilet/sink/window is occupied Soapy Tit Wank
4. Check. I have a mother

Cool I always wondered who was under the costume Soapy Tit Wank  :-))(

My reasons for wanting a pad are simple:

1. To fuck more women
2. To fully enjoy my recently employed single status
3. To fuck more women

Sounds like its working for Dazzza, and if it works for him, it can work for moi Cool

We're both fairly clean-living guys, easy going, so i can't envisage those kinds of problemos, only stumbling block could be financial. But i'm feeling flush at the moment, so its all good.

You msound bitter YR, bad experience with this kinda thing?
